Why we love Got Sit Dog Training.

We couldn’t be happier with our training from Got Sit!!! Kim is so knowledgeable about dogs, dog behavior, and training methods that truly work! She told us, training starts inside the house, once your dog listens to you indoors, they can learn to listen to you outdoors! Kim is so patient and professional while guiding us through situations, and having fun while we’re at it! Our Chow Chow, Olive, is protective of our house and used to bark at anybody walking past. While she was fixated on something, we could NOT get her attention. She would be jumping on furniture (pictured below), and pacing the house trying to see who’s outside. But with Got Sit’s training, we are able to channel that protectiveness into good behaviors! When friends come over, we are able to have Olive go to a specific place, sit, and stay until our guests come inside and get settled. When before she would be jumping all over them, the couch, anything! Then we were able to train outside and work on walking on a leash well, listening to commands (even with lots of distractions), recall, and socializing with Kim’s WONDERFUL dog, Keiko! Training with Kim has been such a blessing, we got to learn how dogs think and why they do things! She gave us all the tools we need in order to raise a happy, confident, and cooperative dog…plus we will be able to apply this knowledge with any dogs we have in the future! With Got Sit’s training, the world is our classroom! We truly can’t recommend them enough!!
