Our trainers work with you at home, out on trails, or in busy spots so your dog learns how to behave everywhere—not just in your living room.

Got Sit Dog Training is the premier dog training company of the northwest. Marvin Versteeg started out solo in 2007 with his grand concept of creating amazing, real world dogs. The training system quickly gained popularity with clients and the momentum began.
With so much information available through the internet, just figuring out what to trust is overwhelming And then there is all of your friends and family that have their opinions for you. With so many options and techniques to choose from, how does a person decide which path to follow? At Got Sit Dog Training, we believe that seeing is believing and that you should have the opportunity to see what we do before becoming financially invested. For this reason, we offer a complimentary in-home consultation to each potential client that is interested in training their dog and wants to be sure that they are comfortable with the company they will be working together with. Not only will we demonstrate our abilities by working with your dog while at your home for the consultation, but we will bring one of our dogs with us to demonstrate the potential you have when you choose to work with us. Because no situation or dog is alike, we offer several different training options, guaranteeing that we have a training option tailor fit for your needs and wants.
For the young dog, we have an extended program that starts with private lessons at your home to put you on the path you need to be on to create the dog you want. The private lessons are followed up with one year of unlimited access to our group training in public to proof the training language that you and your puppy learned in private. This allows you to acclimate your dog to the real world while working with our trainers and alongside our other clients on the program to lead your dog into a higher level of emotional balance.
Our Executive training program is the program that all our other training options were founded on. Consisting of private in-home training and graduating into group training, this program takes you and your dog from kindergarten through university. This gives you all the opportunity you could wish for to create and maintain a brilliant companion.
The Board and Train options may just be the jump start you need. Not every person has the patience or time to do what it takes to rehabilitate their dog. With the boarding and training foundation, you are able to see progress all ready started and confidently take over and maintain your dogs new skill set.
Then there is the confused, fearful and sometimes aggressive dog We have a program just for you! Working together with you, we bring you a vast array of options to help your dog through. emotional stresses and confusion. We help you to create a stronger bond with your dog and clear leadership.
