We have always owned Austrailian Shepherds and knew after the passing of our last one that we need another. Bella is very special to us, we had the breeder picked out and even had the litter we wanted to pick from. However, once the puppies were born we had been informed that there were not any blue Merle females left. Long story short a few days later we received a phone call from the breeder saying the original family's child cried for days that she had to have a black dog. We ran out to see Bella and simply knew she was meant to be with us.
Chris has helped us grasp better communication with Bella and focus her energy. Initially she would throw so called 'fits' if she saw another dog or human she wanted to play with. After only 4 weeks with got sit training Bella is communicating well with commands and even though she still wants to play with other dogs she can now control herself. Last week was our first group training and we look forward to many more.
