We brought Jackson home when he was 10 weeks old and immediately fell in love with him. He was an extremely energetic puppy with a lot of personality. We worked with Jackson on his basic obedience skills on our own until he was 6 months old. We noticed on our walks that he had some aggression toward other dogs and knew that this was something we wanted to work on because we plan to take him everywhere with us, hiking, boating, camping etc. We saw the Got Sit van in Monroe and decided it was time to invest in Jackson's training. We just finished our 5th private lesson and are so pleased with Jackson's progress! He is great at his basic commands and taking him on walks now is amazing. We used to get an arm workout just from his tugging, but now he does not pull at all and walks right at our sides. Now he is great around other dogs and ignores them as they pass. He is a very well behaved dog now and we are so proud of him and cannot wait to start group classes and teach him new tricks!!
We love Got Sit dog training because it has strengthened our relationship with Jackson and has made it such a joy to be his owners. We used to dread walks because of his barking at the other dogs and tugging on the leash, but now it is great! We are able to enjoy either nice relaxing walks or runs together without him tugging or barking at other dogs. He also is so much more well behaved! He listens to and follows our commands. We also love that the collar is a great way to correct behavior without having to raise our voice at him! AJ and Anthony were great to work with and we are so excited to continue to progress with the group classes!
