Got Sit Dog Training will be at Auburn’s Petpalooza. showing dog owners the possibilities they have in training their dogs for excellence!
Auburn’s Petpalooza kicks off with a Dog Trot 3K/5K Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. and the event official opens at 10 am and runs thorugh 5pm at Game Farm Park in Auburn, located at 3030 R Street SE.
Animal related demonstrations and activities include the Skyhoundz Disc Dog Championships, the K9 Kings High Flying Dog Show, Seattle Flydogs demos, WOOFD2 Full Tilt Dog Shows, two agility courses, a noon pet parade, and pony rides.
A food court featuring 10 separate food vendors will be adjacent to the live entertainment stage. You’ll hear tunes from One Eyed Jack, can participate in the “Unleashed” Pet Contest, see a demo from Roving Reptiles and Reptile Isle, check out the Parrot Lady and jam to Crème Tangerine, a fantastic Beatles Tribute Band.
NEW in 2012 is a whole series of animal entertainment from the Great American Animal Entertainment Company. The premier petting zoo features a wide variety of interesting animals including llama, Fallow Deer, Bennett Wallabies, African Pygmy Goats, and many baby animals. Check out GASCAR inter-species animal racing and see goats, sheep, chickens, pigs and other surprise animals wear racing silks as they hoof and waddle their way around and sometimes over an enclosed track. Fascinating facts and stories about different animals is part of the Farmyard Follies, a performance that showcases animal behavior and antics of the petting zoo critters. And, a sure hit for kids of all ages will be the Ag-Ventureland with its goat and cow milking station, corn and bean play boxes, pony saddling, craft stations and more.
